Apple introduced the Battery Health feature 2,518 days ago via iOS 11.3. It has until today become an important thing for the majority of iPhone users in Malaysia, to the point that it is a determinant of the value of used prices in the market. The same feature has been tested on Android devices since 2022, but the implementation done is not interesting enough. Will the battery health status display on the Samsung Galaxy S25 change that?
Yes, according to SamMobile, some Samsung Galaxy S25 devices are seen to be able to display additional details about the device's battery. Usually, it only displays Battery status, Battery sevel and Battery capacity. This lucky device is seen to be able to display details of Battery health (percentage), Battery cycle count, Battery manufacturing date and Battery's first used date.
This feature has actually been widely built into Android devices since Android 14. While many Chinese device manufacturers have included more or less the same feature since Android 13. It is only with Android 15 that Samsung is seen activating this feature in One UI 7. Unfortunately, it is still unclear, which device updates for which countries or which units can display this feature.
Will the battery health status display on the Samsung Galaxy S25 determine the used selling price in the market like the iPhone? Who will determine it, the user or the seller?
