Spotify has recently expanded its audiobook offering. This time, they have partnered with ElevenLabs to include a collection of audiobooks read and/or narrated by AI hosts. ElevenLabs is already well-known as an AI voice service provider.
With this partnership, some audiobooks can have up to 29 different language options. The books that will be read by the AI hosts are books distributed by Findaway Voices. Spotify also has strict rules for AI-generated content and each audiobook will go through a review process before being approved. This is similar to their previous partnership with Google Play Books.
Spotify also previously offered an AI podcast about Wrapped 2024 users generated by Google NotebookLM. Spotify's audiobook offering is currently not available in Malaysia yet. Let's stay tuned.
