There Are Now 2.35 Billion Active Apple Devices Worldwide

In a financial report published yesterday, Tim Cook announced that there are now 2.35 billion active Apple devices worldwide. This is again an increase from the 2.2 billion reported in February 2024. In total, 150 million new devices were activated since the past year, which is equivalent to a 6.85% increase.

However, the rate of increase in new active Apple devices has slowed. Between 2022 and 2023, Apple will see an increase of 200 million new active devices, which is equivalent to a 10% increase. This decline coincides with a -1% decline in iPhone revenue, but at the same time Mac revenue increased by 15% and iPad revenue increased by 15%.

Apple showed its most significant revenue decline in China in the last two years. This was driven by the resurgence of Huawei and Chinese people now choosing to support locally made products.
