TikTok is already experiencing a crisis in the United States, causing their application to not be listed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. While the offer for iPhone devices is quite difficult to do, now for Android users, TikTok has found an alternative measure by providing APK files directly through the official TikTok.com website.
When American users go to the TikTok download site, they are now given the option to download the APK file for Android, and then install it directly on their respective devices.
Previously, the US government had ordered platform providers Google and Apple to remove the TikTok application offer from the application store effective January 19, 2025, before Trump issued a new order. However, due to legislation and so on, this new order does not seem to go beyond the previous order, causing Google and Apple to still not return the TikTok application offer to their respective application stores.
Currently, through Donald Trump's new order, TikTok has been given until April to sell their company and operations to local companies in America.
