Vivo V50 Lite 5G Passes SIRIM Certification In Malaysia

Vivo seems to be planning to launch a new phone in the V50 series in the near future. Although it has not been officially announced yet, the new SIRIM certification shows that the vivo V50 Lite 5G has already passed the certification process in Malaysia. It appears with the model number V2440 (V50 Lite 5G) and was registered by the applicant name Vtalent Business Sdn Bhd since February 14.

As mentioned earlier, this smartphone has not been officially launched in any market. Even the details of the internal specifications are still not known specifically. However, what we can definitely expect is that the V50 Lite 5G will be a more affordable option compared to the V50 version that was previously announced in India.

For the record, the V50 has been designed to enhance the mobile portrait photography experience. It features a portrait system in collaboration with ZEISS and a large battery that is packed into a super-slim body design of only 7.39mm thick. It is a mid-range device powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip, along with a 50MP ZEISS tri-camera with OIS on the front and rear.

At the same time, it also includes AI Studio Light Portrait 2.0, which has been upgraded for brighter studio-quality lighting, especially in low-light scenarios. The battery is also larger at 6000mAh, which can be charged via a USB-C port and a 90W FlashCharge charging system.
