Vivo has published the official website for the new V50 device. It reveals some important details such as design, color options, camera configuration, battery capacity and software. Vivo is also still working with ZEISS which focuses on an attractive camera hardware setup in its class.
Vivo V50 uses a very thin body with rounded sides for long-lasting comfort. It is also available in three color options such as Titanium Grey, Rose Red and Starry Blue. In addition, it has a dual 50MP main sensor with ZEISS technology and OIS. There is also AI Studio Light Portrait 2.0 on the back of the device which is designed to illuminate portrait photos more evenly than the regular LED Flash. It is basically just an aura light feature that has been popular since the V27 model.
There is also an IP68/69 waterproof rating which means that this device is protected from dust and water, as well as resistant to high-pressure water spray. Despite being thin, Vivo still packs a large 6,000mAh battery that can be recharged via 90W fast charging. This is a significant improvement over the previous V40 series which was equipped with a 5500mAh battery.
The launch date is still unclear so make sure to stay tuned for the latest developments regarding this new Vivo device. In the meantime, the device could also potentially be offered in Malaysia as it has passed SIRIM verification since January 24.
