WhatApp is making improvements to the status function to make it more interesting for users. Through it, the ‘Photo’ sticker will be added through an upcoming update. It can be likened to the ‘Photo’ sticker function on Instagram Stories which allows users to add at least two photos in one status update.
The size and position of the photo can also be modified giving users the freedom to arrange it in different ways. In addition, it can be available in various shapes including round, square and even stars. Not limited to just still images, users are said to be able to use this new sticker on videos shared through status updates.
Currently it is still in the development stage, and it is not yet known when WhatsApp will introduce this feature for the full version.
