The View Once feature on WhatsApp is one of the most useful features. It was introduced in 2021 and has now expanded to include more messages, including voice. One problem with this feature is that when you use a linked device, just like the live location feature – see-once messages can only be accessed on the primary device. This will change soon.
In a WABetaInfo report, Meta was seen testing WhatsApp for the new Android by allowing users to also access see-once messages on linked devices. This feature is said to benefit those who often use multiple devices in a day. With see-once messages visible on any device, users don’t have to worry if their primary device is not with them.
This feature is currently available for testing on WhatsApp for Android version 2.25.3.7. It’s not clear when the stable version will be distributed to all users. If you want to use the verso beta APK, make sure you know the risks.
