Xiaomi is expected to offer the new 15 Ultra device on February 26, 2025. This flagship-spec phone also appeared in a video that gives an idea of its rear design. It is also expected to be showcased at MWC 2025 which should promise more attractive improvements for users.
Slightly noticeable physical changes are the focus through several aspects that can be clearly witnessed. The camera bump is getting bigger with a close sensor arrangement and an oval-shaped flash. The accompanying LEICA branding shows that the imaging system on this device has once again received cooperation from the leading company.
It is still unclear about the configuration of this camera but it is expected to use a 50MP main sensor (LYT-900) with OIS. In addition, there are rumors that a 50MP ultra-wide sensor (Samsung JN5), 50MP telephoto (Sony IMX858) and 200MP periscope telephoto (Samsung HP9) will complement it. For selfies, the device is expected to use a 32MP sensor (OmniVision OV32B).
The Xiaomi 15 Ultra could also feature a 6.8-inch AMOLED LTPO panel with 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It is also powered by a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and 1TB of UFS 4.0 internal storage. It could also be equipped with a 6000mAh battery with 90W wired and 50W wireless charging.
