Xiaomi announced that the new flagship smartphone Xiaomi 15 Ultra will be officially launched on February 27, 2025. The launch took place in China first and could potentially be showcased at MWC 2025. At the same time, it certainly promises more attractive improvements for loyal users.
Slightly noticeable physical changes are the focus through several aspects that can be clearly witnessed. In fact, the promotional images shared show the design and finish that were leaked before. Xiaomi also uses a dual-tone theme that combines a colored faux leather finish and a matte finish that may be glass.
This new phone also features a camera system with Leica Collaboration which certainly makes photography capabilities better. In addition, it can be accompanied by more attractive camera software that allows users to record extraordinary images and videos in any situation.
It is still unclear about the configuration of this camera but it is expected to use a 50MP (LYT-900) main sensor with OIS. Additionally, there are rumors that a 50MP ultra-wide sensor (Samsung JN5), 50MP telephoto (Sony IMX858) and 200MP periscope telephoto (Samsung HP9) will be added. For selfies, the device is expected to use a 32MP sensor (OmniVision OV32B).
