Good news for AirPods Max owners as Apple's premium headphones will be updated in April to bring lossless audio streaming and lower latency. Supported lossless audio is 24-bit, 48 kHz which can be enjoyed through Apple Music and Apple TV.
However, only AirPods Max with USB-C can use this new audio capability as it requires a USB-C cable connection to work. Owners of AirPods Max models with Lightning can only blink at this time.
With this update, AirPods Max USB-C also becomes the only headphones that allow the process of producing spatial audio with Logic Pro's continuous head tracking software. In Malaysia, AirPods Max USB-C can be purchased for RM2499 per pair.
