Perplexity, Copilot, ChatGPT and Gemini are among the AI chatbot services that currently have a conversation mode. Users can chat with each AI as if they were chatting with a real friend and this similar feature will eventually be introduced to Claude AI.
According to Anthropic's Chief Product Officer, Mike Krieger – this feature is already planned to be offered to users. In fact, a prototype has also been developed and seeing its use on the desktop may be more helpful and provide many benefits to users. Interestingly, this Claude AI conversation mode is said to possibly involve Amazon, one of their major investors who also now has Alexa+ and will also be working with ElevenLabs.
Details about this conversation mode are still mysterious such as whether it is limited to paid users only, is it only for desktop users and will it be a competitor to Gemini which can also be a replacement for the main virtual assistant on user devices? Let's wait and see.
