Apple this year has chosen to end the iPhone SE series, instead using the iPhone 16e brand for new models – parallel to the introduction of the iPhone 16 series at the end of 2024. Following this, now comes an analyst report targeting Apple to introduce the iPhone e series every year.
This also shows that we may see the iPhone 17e introduced in 2026, and so on – parallel to the introduction of the new iPhone series.
For now, this is an early expectation, and it is not known whether Apple will continue with it or not. Some early user comments also take into account the relatively high offering price for the model, making them likely to choose the iPhone 16 directly if they want an iPhone over the iPhone 16e.
