Through Apple Music or Apple TV, users of this luxury headphone set will soon be able to enjoy 24-bit, 48 kHz lossless audio and lower latency. For that, a special cable is required and Apple Malaysia has started selling it.
The USB-C to 3.5mm Audio Cable is currently listed on the Apple Malaysia website at RM219 for a length of 1.2 meters. This cable is also braided for more durability and is limited to white only. Apple says this cable is suitable for use with AirPods Max or Beats Studio Pro. However, only 9 iPhones, around 20 iPads and over 30 Macs support this cable. This cable will be available at the Apple Store by March 28 with online sales starting shipping on the same date.
