Google Gemini is becoming more interesting and useful day by day. Recently, Google has introduced AI Overviews and Canvas for the best productivity.
AI Overviews is one of the features of NotebookLM, where users can upload any document for AI to analyze and then generate audio content with two hosts discussing the document in podcast format. This feature will appear as a suggestion after users upload files or get Deep Research reports. This feature requires a Google One AI Premium subscription and is available in the app and web.
Canvas is where text is edited in Gemini. Every edit made will change in real time. For example, after a feedback is generated – users can select specific text or paragraphs for Gemini to regenerate. Users can also choose whether they want the regeneration to be longer, shorter, very long or very short – in addition to changing the tone of the language such as very casual, casual, formal or very formal. At the same time, Gemini itself can also provide suggestions on what edits should be made.
In Canvas, users can also edit code or generate previews of their code work. For example, designing a website with HTML or a web game with specific codes – Gemini can give you a visual idea of what your work will look like with their help.
