China is now releasing a new legislation, requiring a service provider to label the content generated using artificial intelligence, effective September 1, 2025. The content should be labeled clearly, or through the metadata on the file.
This step is in an effort to control false and incorrect information. As many are aware, the artificial intelligence has also increased various texts, pictures, audio and even video shared on the web - sometimes with a variety of inaccurate information. By labeling it, it is seen as it will make it easier for users to review the matter.
This is also expected to reduce the abuse of artificial intelligence content.
In addition to China, the European Union has also announced that the content of artificial intelligence needs to be labeled.
