The fact is that at this time all the websites in the world have their data stolen to train artificial intelligence (AI) models. This is done using bots that do the work of exploring each website and then illegally storing copyrighted data. There is a robot.txt feature that site operators can put in place to prevent bots from stealing data but it is ignored by AI developers.
Cloudflare last week introduced the AI Labyrinth feature which they say will prevent this intellectual property theft from continuing. When it detects activity similar to the data scraping process by bots, AI Labyrinth will redirect traffic to fake websites also generated by AI.
With this, the task of data-stealing bots will start to get confused, work more slowly and time will be wasted reading meaningless page content. AI Labyrinth can be activated by Cloudflare customers for free
