July. last year the CMF Phone 1 was launched with a gimmick of a removable back panel that was replaced with a 3D printed panel designed by the owner himself. This week the CMF Phone 2 design has been leaked with what appears to be two changes compared to the previous model.
The leaked design via Reddit shows the camera on the back now has three lenses. Based on its small size, this third sensor may finally be for the ultra-wide-angle camera. Last year's Phone 1 was only equipped with a wide-angle lens and a depth sensor. It can also be seen that this back panel has the same screw configuration to support the interchangeable panel. The button for the strap at the bottom corner is also retained.
The biggest change is with the much smaller body size. If the hand in the picture can be used as a scale, the device will have a screen size of less than 6″. No manufacturer has offered a device with this small size after the iPhone SE was discontinued. Perhaps Nothing saw the demand for a compact device and offered it through the CMF Phone 2.
