Google Gemini has since yesterday allowed more people to try out the capabilities of this generative artificial intelligence-based chatbot. This is because, for the first time, Google is allowing people to access Gemini without any Google account.
Yes, you don't need a Google account to log in. Just open the Gemini website and you can continue to use the Gemini 2.0 Flash model. However, other models and the file upload feature and conversation mode cannot be used. For now, use on the app still requires an account. This new update will make it easier for people to try Gemini before making it their primary virtual assistant/chatbot for daily use.
