Google today officially introduced their latest smartphone, the Pixel 9a. This smartphone continues the legacy and offerings of Pixel devices, but at a lower price than other Pixel series.

Pixel 9a comes with a 6.3-inch screen with a 120Hz refresh rate, 2700-nits brightness rate, and is powered by the Tensor G4 processor chip. This phone also comes with IP68 durability support.

On the camera side, it includes a 48-megapixel main camera which is also equipped with a 13Mp ultra-wide camera on the back. Google Pixel 9a also includes a Macro Focus feature – for the first time on the “A” series.

With the Pixel brand, it also includes the integration of Gemini artificial intelligence, including for photo editing, photo recording, and others. Powering the Pixel 9a is a 5100mAh battery with 23W wired charging support.

The Pixel 9a also promises 7 years of operating system and security updates – another perk for Pixel fans. The Google Pixel 9a will be available in Malaysia this April at a starting price of RM2699. Google is also expected to offer it with three months of Google One, as well as a Fitbit Premium subscription. We may know more about it closer to its launch date.
