Google NotebookLM Can Now Generate Mind Maps

Google NotebookLM was recently updated with support for generating mind maps based on the content provided to be summarized and discussed. With this new feature, users can clearly see that the topic they want to discuss has been broken down into various branches for easier understanding.

This mind map can be generated with new notes or those that have already been generated. This mind map can also be accessed from within the Studio Panel. This mind map can then be viewed with the zoom feature, click on each node to ask questions, can download and view extended discussions, and share the mind map with other users.

In my opinion, this feature is very useful as a tool for research, study, and revision purposes. Users can now upload complex text content, complicated mathematical calculations, historical content, theories, and more for the best discussions in understanding something more deeply. Not to mention that every discussion by NotebookLM has been trained not to hate humans.

To use this feature, NotebookLM is part of the Google One AI Premium subscription so a subscription is required. It uses the same advanced Gemini AI model found on the Gemini app.
