The Malaysian government has announced a 50 percent toll discount on selected highways in conjunction with the Hari Raya Aidilfitri 2025 celebration. This discount is valid for two days, starting at 12.01 midnight, 28 March 2025 (Friday) until 11.59 pm, 29 March 2025 (Saturday).
This initiative is specifically for Class 1 private vehicles only and does not involve toll plazas at the country's borders, such as the Sultan Iskandar Building Toll (BSI) on the North-South Expressway (PLUS) and the Tanjung Kupang Toll Plaza on the Malaysia-Singapore Second Route Expressway (Linkedua). It is understood that the government has allocated RM19.69 million to make this implementation a success.
This measure is also part of the continuation of assistance that has been implemented previously in conjunction with the four major festive seasons in Peninsular Malaysia. Highway users are encouraged to plan their journeys in advance and take advantage of this discount to avoid traffic congestion during the long holiday.
