Honor previously shared about its latest strategic initiative, Honor Alpha Plan, which aims to build an open AI ecosystem with its global partners. This initiative will be introduced at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 event in Barcelona on March 2, 2025.
Honor has not yet fully detailed the Honor Alpha Plan initiative. However, under the initiative, Honor is seen to introduce several new technologies such as AI Connect which aims to improve the connectivity between devices, AI Upscale which will improve the visual quality and performance of the device, and AI Safety, which ensures user safety with advanced deepfake detection technology.
AI Connect is also expected to work like Oppo's O+ Connect for easy connection support between Android and iOS devices. Meanwhile, AI Upscale is expected to work like the image quality enhancement ability previously offered by Realme with the ability to produce old photos become clearer. More information about the Honor Alpha Plan will be announced at the event.
