For Android devices, it is common for mid-range or lower-priced devices to have larger batteries than their more expensive flagships. For Apple, the same thing has finally happened as the iPhone 16e has a larger battery than the iPhone 16 Pro.
In a video by famous tech content creator Dave2D, the video host Dave Lee shared that in his test – the iPhone 16e was recorded with a battery capacity of 3,961 maAh compared to the iPhone 16 Pro which is only 3,582mAh. Not only that, because the iPhone 16e uses the Apple C1 modem chip with better power consumption – it also contributes to longer battery life.
Dave Lee shared that non-stop Reddit use got the iPhone 16e to last up to 12 hours 54 minutes (almost 13 hours) compared to the iPhone 16 which only lasted around 11 hours 17 minutes. The iPhone 16e is also the smallest iPhone (6.1″ screen) with the longest-lasting battery.
But with only one camera, no MagSafe and a starting price of RM2,999, would you buy it?
