Malaysia Airlines has now issued warnings to their flight passengers, including Malaysia Airlines, Firefly and Maswings, regarding the use of Powerbank in flight.
Effective April 1, 2025, each passenger can bring only 2 powerbanks on a flight with a capacity of 100-160WH.
Powerbank should also be kept with passengers all the time, and cannot be stored in a bag on the cabin, or in the luggage.
Malaysia Airlines took this step to ensure that flight conditions were safer, and not exposed to the risk of powerbank and so on.
