Malaysian Company Opens Pre-Orders for SSD Storage Upgrades on Mac Mini M4

iBoff is a local company that helps users upgrade the storage on their Mac devices. As you may know, Apple’s latest Mac Mini M4 comes with a very attractive local price tag, making it the most affordable desktop computer to buy today.

Priced at RM2499, the Mac Mini M4 comes with only 256GB of storage. To remedy this problem, iBoff has recently opened pre-orders for Mac Mini storage that comes with 1TB or 2TB storage.

Through their website, it is also shown that they have a storage upgrade service for you, or if you are someone who is confident in your ability to open and reinstall your Mac Mini, there is a video guide on how to open and install SSD storage on your Mac Mini.

It also shows how iBoff storage is seen to be comparable in terms of performance when compared to Apple’s own storage.

Currently, the 1TB and 2TB iBoff storage, which uses Kioxia (1TB, $180) and SanDisk (2TB, $270) storage chips, are still in the pre-order phase, and will go on sale starting April 30.
