Meta AI was introduced in 2023 and until today it has not yet arrived in all countries. However, Meta has promised that their artificial intelligence technology will be accessible to all users in stages. Most recently, Meta AI has been activated in 41 more countries.
For this week, the 41 countries that received Meta AI access are European countries. Meta is proud that this feature has been successfully offered after months of being stuck in a complicated approval process due to complex EU laws. Meta AI in the EU will support 6 languages that can be accessed on Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and Messenger.
Because Meta AI does not have its own application, in any messaging space on the Meta platform – this AI can be summoned with @MetaAI. Meta AI will also appear in the form of a FAB (floating action button) on WhatsApp. For users of Meta Ray-Ban glasses, Meta AI support may be available. For now, Meta has not yet announced the presence of Meta AI in Malaysia although they have confirmed that it will arrive since October 2024.
