Recently, it can be seen that portable gaming consoles such as the ASUS ROG Ally, Lenovo Legion Go and MSI Claw are quite popular among users. They run the Microsoft Windows 11 operating system, and allow users to access their PC games in a compact and easy-to-carry console.
Recently, it has been reported that Microsoft is working with an OEM company to build their own portable gaming console. It seems to come with an Xbox theme, and unlike other PC consoles before, it seems to be developed specifically for the Xbox brand.
A processed image of the console can be seen, and it does not look much different when compared to the ROG Ally console. But as previously said, it is not yet known with which company this collaboration is being done.
Meanwhile, the Windows Central report also said that the development of Microsoft's Xbox Series S/X successor console seems to have been approved by Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella, which will reportedly come with new accessories. It is expected that this console will be introduced around 2027.
