Microsoft Reportedly Testing DeepSeek, xAI, and Meta Integration on CoPilot

In addition to developing its own AI model called MAI, Microsoft is now also said to be testing the integration of other artificial intelligence models on their CoPilot offering. Among the models tested are xAI, Meta, and DeepSeek.

This test is seen as a replacement for the ChatGPT model that powers CoPilot today. Microsoft is also seen wanting to reduce its reliance on OpenAI, while at the same time offering more options to users.

At the beginning of the introduction of its own ChatGPT integration, many expected that Microsoft would later offer an option through the settings page to allow users to change the artificial intelligence model according to user preferences.

At the moment, it is not known when Microsoft will offer different model options on CoPilot for consumers or for enterprises.
