About 5 years ago, support for updates for Windows 10 Mobile and Windows 7 was discontinued. However, support for applications such as Microsoft Office, some other applications still continues. This includes the Microsoft Store on Windows 10 Mobile. There are still many applications available for download, Windows Phone 8.1 devices can still be updated to Windows 10 Mobile – until today – the Microsoft Store for this platform is completely discontinued.
According to a number of loyal Windows Phone users, the Microsoft Store app store is now no longer open. Previously it still displayed a collection of applications, manage applications or accounts and more – now it is just a gray screen. Some users have also reported receiving an error message to access the app store.
