NVIDIA Upgrades Its “AI Factory” Offerings With Blackwell Ultra B300 Data Center GPUs

At the ongoing GTC 2025 event, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang announced that they will be launching the NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra B300 supercomputer platform that will be used to further advance the artificial intelligence sector, which is moving closer to AGI (Artificial General Intelligence).

The NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra B300 data center graphics card features a different graphics processing chip compared to the previous NVIDIA Blackwell B200 and B100 graphics card offerings. It has 288GB of built-in HBM3e memory and features 30 petaflops of FP4 compute performance, almost twice as high as the Blackwell B200.

Jensen said that the Blackwell B300 graphics card is built for the “Age of Reasoning”, where artificial intelligence systems can reason and think about the “why” of things, and eventually, create their own content without requiring human input.

The introduction of the Blackwell Ultra B300 graphics card also comes with the announcement of two other products that use the graphics card, namely the GB300 DGX Station and the GB300 NV72L server rack that combines several Blackwell B300 graphics cards in one system. The GB300 DGX Station is seen to come with 72 NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra GPUs with 20TB of HBM3e memory.

The GB300 DGX Station and GB300 NV72L can be used for companies that want a supercomputer system for research or AI inference purposes.

For those who are developing artificial intelligence technology, eight GB300 NV72L server racks can be combined to form a Blackwell Ultra DGX SuperPOD consisting of 288 NVIDIA Grace CPUs, 576 Blackwell Ultra graphics cards and 300TB of HBM3e memory.

This is the latest “AI factory” promised by NVIDIA and can be used to accelerate the process of building artificial intelligence technology for companies that can afford it.

NVIDIA's focus appears to still be on developing AI technology, and whether this will have an impact on the gaming GPU market remains to be seen, especially when many are saying that the consumer graphics card market will stabilize in the coming months.
