Raja Haji Fi Sabilillah Mosque in Cyberjaya is now the first mosque in Malaysia with the largest solar system, making it more sustainable than others. The use of solar energy also indirectly leads to savings in electricity consumption in the mosque, around 20% to 40%.
This mosque uses solar panels placed on the roof. A total of 862 solar PV modules are used, and support a capacity of 500kWP.
This step also led to recognition in the Malaysia Book of Records in the category of “Installation of the Largest Mosque Solar System in Malaysia”. This installation effort was also made possible with Green Xperts.
