Xiaomi has introduced the Redmi Book Pro 16 and Redmi Book Pro 14 2025 in China with attractive specifications in their class. Both models are specially designed to provide high performance with a stylish design. In addition, the included AI features provide added value by making the user experience more efficient and smooth.
Redmi Book Pro 16 comes in a logan-based body with a thickness of 15.9mm and a weight of 1.88kg. It also features a 3.1K (3072 X 1920) LCD screen with a refresh rate of 165Hz and a maximum brightness of 500 nits. It is further powered by a choice of Intel Ultra 5 225H (14 cores, 4.9GHz) or Ultra 7 255H (16 cores, 5.1GHz) CPUs along with 32GB (LPDDR5X) memory and 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD storage. The 99Wh battery used can work up to 31 hours, in addition to supporting 100W fast charging that can charge quickly.
Redmi Pro 14 also has the same 15.9mm thickness as the Pro 16 model but is lighter at 1.45kg. It is equipped with a 2.8K (2880×1800) screen that offers a maximum brightness of 500nits and a refresh rate of 120Hz. In addition, it offers a choice of 16/32GB LPDDR5X memory and 1TB PCIe 4.0 SSD storage with an M.2 slot for storage expansion. The included 80Wh battery can last up to 31 hours of use, while the 100W GaN charging system can charge this computer to 51% in just 30 minutes.
Both Redmi Book Pro 16 and Pro 14 models run the Windows 11 operating system with Xiaomi AIPC engine. This engine supports file transfer capabilities between Xiaomi devices, making it an ideal choice for professionals who need to operate in multiple ecosystems. In addition, the laptop comes with Xiaomi PC Manager, which also supports the Xiao Ai voice assistant to ensure seamless integration into the Xiaomi ecosystem.
In terms of I/O options, both models support Thunderbolt 4, USB-C, HDMI 2.1, two USB-A 3.2 Gen1 ports, and a 3.5mm audio jack. There are also some other interesting additional features such as HyperConnect for easy sharing between devices, a 1080P resolution camera, and support for Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos.
