Samsung is expected to offer a more affordable flip phone, the Galaxy Z Flip FE, this year. This device is expected to use the Galaxy Z Flip6 screen and be powered by an Exynos chip. Recently, there have been reports that Samsung itself has frequently changed plans regarding the introduction of this device.
Originally, the Z Flip FE was said to be powered by the same Exynos 2400 chip on the Galaxy S24, but has changed to use the Exynos 2500 instead. This is because there are sources sharing information that Samsung has started developing the Exynos 2500 and Exynos 2600. The new chip was originally limited to the Galaxy Z Flip7 only, but due to production problems, the Flip7 may use a Snapdragon chip and the Exynos 2500 will be given to the Flip FE.
Samsung is also reported to still be unsure about the Flip FE with the production plan for this device and the chip that will be used still has not been finalized. Anyway, the Galaxy Z Flip FE is said to only be launched a few months after the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Flip7 are launched to the public. This is the same strategy as the Galaxy Z Fold7 SE, what do you say?
