Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip7 are two foldable phones that will be launched this year. Based on some leaked specifications, the Z Fold7 and Z Flip7 may once again be devices that Samsung is comfortable with so it will not bring much change. Most recently in China, both of these devices have passed the test to support 25W fast charging.
SM-F7660 and SM-F9660 have recently entered the database of the 3C website in China. These devices were tested with the EP-TA800 charger which is said to be included once with every purchase and it supports 25W charging power. The battery of the device is said to be around 4,400mAh. For those who don't know, EP-TA800 is a USB-PD charger that was launched during the Galaxy S10 era.
According to the source, even though the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Flip7 were tested with a 25W charger, it doesn't mean that it will be limited to that. It will probably support faster charging. However, it would not be surprising if Samsung still refuses to provide truly fast charging support since 25W has been offered since the Galaxy Z Fold2. Do you still want to support Samsung if they are still stingy with specifications?
