Samsung Haean Smart Glasses May Arrive This Year

Samsung has already confirmed that they are developing a pair of smart glasses. It may use Android XR and is an alternative product to Project Moohan, which is a type of headset. The latest, Samsung is said to be launching these glasses as early as this year.

According to a report by ETNews, these glasses are codenamed Haean based on the name of a city in South Korea. They use a unique design so that they can be adapted to various user faces. Also included are various cameras and sensors to detect movement. The specifications known so far are the Snapdragon XR2 Plus Gen 2 chip, a 12MP camera and a 155 mAh battery.

Samsung has already developed a meta lens for such a product. For those who don't know, Samsung has been dreaming of products like this for over a decade, such as ones specifically for sports or ones that resemble Scout from the animated series Dragon Pearl.

Haean will be launched alongside the Project Moohan headset. Both products will run the new Android XR operating system. However, it is still unclear whether these Samsung glasses will include screen support like the TECNO AI Glasses or more like the Ray-Ban Meta competitor, which will soon have a version with Oakley.
