Late last year, we reported that Samsung had been awarded a patent for a gaming device, namely, a mobile console with a foldable screen. There is something strange going on with this console to see the controls, namely the arrow keys in all directions are perforated.
Samsung representatives at the booth did not share much about the prototype product displayed next to the Steam Deck OLED. The perforated keys are what I want to know the most, because they are very unique and different. As usual, this is just a prototype and a concept. In fact, the unit on display is just a display.
I am also sure that a mobile game console like this will not become a trend. This is because, when it is folded, this console becomes thicker and harder to store.
Samsung did not reveal if they themselves will come up with their own console or will sell the screen to other manufacturers. Who knows, one day Nintendo will offer a console with a similar concept.
