We are already at the end of February 2025, but Samsung devices have still not received the One UI 7 update based on Android 15. So far, only the Galaxy S25, Galaxy A56, Galaxy A36 and Galaxy A26 series have used this operating system. Today, information has leaked showing the timeline of when other devices will receive the update.
The Galaxy S24, S23, Flip6, Fold6, Flip5, Fold5 and A54 series are the first to receive it starting this April. This will then be followed by the S22, S21, Flip4, Fold4, Flip3, Fold3, A34,A33 and A53 series in May. This is still not a complete list of updates because there is no list for tablets. We previously published a list of 61 devices that will receive One UI 7.
While One UI 7 will be available to devices later, not all of the new features on the Galaxy S25 series will be available due to NPU power constraints on the processor chip, according to Samsung. For example, the Now Bar and Now Brief are still exclusive to the S25 series with data processed directly from the device.
