ShopeePay to End Support for DuitNow Transfer Using ID Effective March 19, 2025

Shopee has now started informing local users about the changes to ShopeePay. Effective March 19, 2025, users will no longer be able to make DuitNow Transfer transfers using ID via ShopeePay.

For your information, today ShopeePay supports money transfers using DuitNow Transfer, where users can enter data such as phone number, MyKad, or business registration number. The reason behind this termination was not disclosed. DuitNow Transfer transfers using account number are still supported for now.

ShopeePay said they will continue to support DuitNow QR for now, while also allowing users to make transfers using ShopeePay.
