As various large-sized electric cars with more than 5 seats have just started flooding the roads, today Volvo Malaysia announced that their electric SUV, the EX90, will be coming to the local market soon.
The Volvo EX90 is an electric SUV with 7 seats and has a LIDAR scanner, a laser-based scanner that can assist users in autonomous driving. It is the safest electric car ever produced by Volvo with various new technologies.
The electric car, which was first announced in November 2022, was only manufactured in the middle of last year, with Thailand being the first to receive it at the end of last year. In Thailand, it is offered in 2 variations, namely the Twin Motor Plus which has a travel range of 600 KM WLTP, and the Twin Motor Performance which has a travel range of 590 KM WLTP.
Both have the same battery size of 111 kWh and have an 11kW AC charging providing a full charge in 10 hours. The DC fast charging speed is 250 kW and can charge the battery from 10-80% in 30 minutes.
