Xiaomi 15 Ultra and Xiaomi 15 will be launched in the global market on March 2 during the MWC Barcelona event. Today, Xiaomi's official online store on Shopee confirmed that both of these flagship devices will go on sale in Malaysia on the same date.
Only the sales date has been confirmed without any announcement of prices or models that will enter the Malaysian market. As far as is known, both devices use the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. The specifications of the Xiaomi 15 are the same as the model launched in China last year. What is still a mystery is the Xiaomi 15 Ultra's camera configuration whether it is improved from the previous model.
Since collaborating with Leica, Xiaomi has been more aggressive in offering their devices earlier to the global market. It has clearly paid off because in Malaysia, Xiaomi is the top manufacturer with a 16% share of the smartphone market.
