Acer has launched two new laptops in Malaysia. They consist of the Acer Swift Lite 14 Air and Acer Swift 16 AI which offer powerful performance with 2nd generation Intel Core Ultra processors, as well as built-in AI features to help improve productivity. With a modern design, both are also suitable for students and professionals who need high-performance mobile devices.
The Acer Swift Lite 14 is designed with a thin build, with a weight of under 1kg. The screen uses a WUXGA (1920 x 1200 pixels) OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate. It is also powered by a CPU up to Intel Core Ultra 7 258V (with Intel AI Boost NPU), with a choice of 32GB LPDDR5X memory (built-in) and internal storage up to 1TB PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSD.
This laptop is also equipped with a 65Wh battery that can last up to 29 hours, and supports a fast charging system. It is also equipped with a 1440p QHD IR HDR webcam with TNR (Temporal Noise Reduction) technology for clearer video call quality. In addition, AI features such as Acer PurifiedView, PurifiedVoice 2.0, and Microsoft Copilot integration are provided to enhance the user experience with easy smart functions.
In terms of connectivity, this laptop offers 2 USB-C (Thunderbolt 4) ports, 1 HDMI 2.1 port, 1 USB-A port, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It also runs the Windows 11 Home or Pro operating system as a complement.
The Acer Swift 16 AI uses a 16-inch 3K (2880 x 1800 pixel) OLED screen with a refresh rate of 120Hz. This is paired with an Intel Core Ultra 7 256V chip, along with a choice of 16GB LPDDR5x memory and 1TB PCIe Gen 4 NVMe SSD storage.
The Acer Swift 16 AI also has a 69Wh lithium-ion battery that can operate for up to 20 hours continuously. Weighing 1.5kg, the Acer Swift 16 AI is designed for portability, and it comes with Windows 11 Home pre-installed, ensuring compatibility with the latest software and security updates.
The selling price starts at RM3,799 and RM4,399 for the Acer Swift Lite 14 AI. While the Acer Swift 16 AI is priced at RM5,699 each. For those of you who are interested, both laptops are available for pre-order through authorized Acer Malaysia distributors until the end of April 2025.
