Adobe Fonts has been updated with 1,500 new typefaces in partnership with Monotype. Popular typefaces like Helvetica, Gotham, Avenir, and Times New Roman are now available for download by Creative Cloud customers to use in their projects.
Support for Monotype typefaces is officially ending in January 2023 due to its use of the Type 1 format, which is no longer supported. In addition to the Monotype typeface library, Adobe is also adding support for Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai, Hindi, and more alphabets.
There are no additional license fees for Creative Cloud customers to use all of these new typefaces. They just need to go to the Creative Cloud app and search for the typeface they want under the Adobe Fonts option.
The process of finding replacement typefaces for missing types has also been simplified directly from within Photoshop, InDesign, Express, and Illustrator. Please update your Adobe apps to access this new feature.
