After successfully penetrating the international market with broadcasts on Netflix and also the Japanese market with the translated version of Mechamato Movie, now this local animated series has also succeeded in penetrating the Chinese market. Mechamato's content will be broadcast in China via the popular streaming platform Youku.

The announcement was made by the founder of Monsta Studios and creator of Mechamato, Nizam Abdul Razak via his X account today. According to Nizam, the agreement with Youku also includes licensing and selling Mechamato goods in China. According to him, this is an important step in efforts to develop the Mechamato and Malaysia brands to a global level.

Before Mechamato, Nizam also experienced success in entering the international market through the first animated films Upin & Ipin and Boboiboy. These two popular animations were broadcast on the Netflix and Disney+ Hotstar platforms several years ago.
