AMD EPYC Venice Data Center Processing Chip Successfully Produced with TSMC's 2nm Process

AMD has confirmed that its latest data center CPU, the AMD EPYC Venice, has already begun production at TSMC's factory, and interestingly, it is the first data center (High Performance Computing) processing chip to be produced using their latest TSMC N2 (2nm) process node.

Not only that, AMD EPYC Venice is also the first CPU to use Zen 6 technology, and can support from 12 to 16 DDR5 memory channels,

In the meantime, AMD has also confirmed that TSMC has also successfully produced the fifth generation AMD EPYC processing chip series, "Turin" at their factory located in Arizona, USA. This is a major achievement because it means that AMD can produce their data center processing chips in the country, and does not have to rely on factories abroad.
