The designs that will be used for four iPhone 17 models this year have already been leaked after the metal molds used to produce the frame were leaked in early March. This week, four iPhone 17 mock-ups have been leaked, showing the design that will be used more clearly.
On the iPhone 17 Pro and 17 Pro Max models, the triple-camera system on the back is still maintained but it is placed in a large camera bump that takes up the entire top of the device. There were rumors a few months ago that Apple would use a dual-tone design but it was rumored to be canceled. The bump is believed to use a glass material that makes the device look like a Google Pixel.
The iPhone 17 Air is the thinnest device with only one camera on the back placed in an elongated oval-shaped camera bump. The iPhone 17 Air looks more like a Pixel 9 XL than the iPhone 16e that was just released this year.
Finally, there is the iPhone 17 which retains the small camera bump design like the 2024 model. All three devices are expected to be launched in mid-September with the iOS 19 operating system which will finally bring Siri with artificial intelligence that was promised last year.
