If you’re looking for a small and compact, yet powerful, gaming-class desktop computer, ASUS has recently updated their ASUS ROG NUC offering with the latest computer components.
Although the ROG NUC is seen as a desktop-class gaming computer, the components used in it are laptop components. This year’s model will be powered by an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor chip and combined with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card for laptops, which uses 16GB of GDDR7 memory.
In terms of memory and storage, the ROG NUC 2025 will be equipped with 32GB of DDR5 memory, and can be upgraded up to 96GB by users if they need it. In terms of storage, ASUS gives users the choice of getting a model with 1TB or 2TB PCIe4 SSD storage.
In terms of port offerings and other features, the ASUS ROG NUC 2025 comes with six USB 3.2 Type-A ports, four on the back and two on the front, one Thunderbolt 4 port, two DisplayPort 2.1 ports, two HDMI 2.1 ports, one 2.5GbE internet port, one audio port for headphones or speakers on the front and one USB 3.2 Type-C port on the front.
This computer also supports the latest Bluetooth 5.4 wireless connection technology, as well as WiFi7 wireless internet connection which promises very fast wireless internet connection, as long as you use a WiFi7 router as well.
The ASUS ROG NUC 2025 computer will be offered in the Chinese market first starting this month, at a price of 24,399 RMB for the model with 1TB storage and 24,999 for the model with 2TB storage.
At the moment, it is not known when this computer will be offered in other markets.
