CIMB had initially scheduled the termination of the CIMB Clicks app this week, 12 April 2025, and will fully transition to the new CIMB OCTO app. However, it is now seen that CIMB has postponed the termination, and will terminate the app on 19 April 2025.
No reason was given by CIMB regarding this postponement. However, with this additional seven days, it will give more time for CIMB Clicks users to switch to the CIMB OCTO app.
Previously, CIMB itself has started to phase out several features on the CIMB Clicks app, and asked users to use CIMB OCTO for further transactions.
CIMB OCTO offers a more modern look, with more attractive and seamless access and display. For those of you who use CIMB, you can download OCTO from the Google, Apple or Huawei app stores today.
