FoodPanda to Close Operations in Thailand in May 2025

Delivery Hero has announced that it will be ending its FoodPanda operations in Thailand, effective May 23, 2025. The reason for this has not been disclosed.

Delivery Hero says it will continue to focus on other markets in the Asia Pacific region, including Malaysia.

Delivery Hero previously tried to sell its business in Taiwan, but was blocked by Taiwanese authorities. Delivery Hero also discussed selling its business in the Southeast Asian region last year, valuing it at around $1 billion – but has not found a suitable buyer for it at this time.
