Google is now found to be paying Samsung a large sum of money to ensure that the Gemini artificial intelligence application is included built-in to Samsung devices. Google is said to have started paying Samsung since January 2025.
Google is said to have agreed to pay for at least 2 years, and to pay Samsung every month based on the devices sold with Gemini built-in. In addition, Samsung also generates some of the advertising revenue generated by Google through the application.
In addition to this Gemini application, Google is also willing to pay Samsung to make them the main search engine on devices sold by Samsung. The total value paid by Google is not disclosed at this time.
